The Tour Guide wears a compact radio transmitter and headset microphone. When the guide speaks, the message is picked up by the microphone and transmitted as a radio signal. Listeners wear portable receivers and lightweight headphones. The receiver picks up the radio signal, and delivers the message to the listener's headphones.
